Author Guidelines

Please read and understand the author's guidelines for the preparation manuscript. The author who submits a manuscript to the editors should comply with the author's guidelines and template. If the submitted manuscript does not comply with the guidelines or using a different format, it will be rejected by the editorial team before being reviewed. The editorial team will only accept a manuscript that meets the specified formatting requirements (downloadable at: Template and Author Guidelines). This template is designed to assist Author in preparing manuscript; it is an exact representation of the format expected by the editor. To use this template, please just Save As this MS Word file to your document, then copy and paste your document here. All papers submitted to the journal should be written in English or Indonesian language.  

  1. International Journal of Law and Development Community (IJLDC) contains original research articles or articles of analysis has never been published before;
  2. The language used in this journal is
  3. The manuscript typed using the font Book Antiqua ,size font12, with 1.15 spacing on A4 paper. The minimum number of pages should be 15 and a maximum of 30 pages (including References).The Margin should be : top and bottom 2,5 cm, right and left 2,5 cm.
  4. The writing system consists of: Title (ideally no more than 16 words; Author's Name (without an academic degree); Abstract (no more than 150-300 words made in English, which contains a summary of research, methods and research results) , and keywords); Introduction (containing a description of the background and formulation of the problem); Method (generally consisting of the kind of research, type of research; approach method, research location; sources of legal materials; techniques for collecting legal materials/data and analysis of legal materials/data ), Analysis and Discussion (description of the analysis of the research results), Conclusion (containing descriptions of conclusions and suggestions), and Refrences (Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition )
  5. Each manuscript uses the Footnote citation technique (Book Antiqua 10 font). The

        Footnote writing order is: Author, Title of Bukum in Italics, City: Publisher Year, ,Year . Example:

  1. (1) Peter Mahmud Marzuki, Penelitian Hukum, Cetakan VI (Jakarta: Prenada Media Group, 2011).
  2.   1. References : a minimum of 25 (Fifteen) reference books and Only references used as citations may be listed in the References. The order of writing is; last name is put in front, Year, Title of book italics, City: Publisher.

The Writing should not not use chapter separation with numbers. The division between Titles, Sub-Titles, and Sub-Titles is written in the following order:

  1. MAIN HEADING OF THE FIRST ANAYLYSIS AND DISCUSSION ;
    • Sub Heading ;
    • Sub Heading;
  2. MAIN HEADING OF THE SECOND ANAYLYSIS AND DISCUSSION
    • Sub Heading;
    • Sub Heading
  1. The table (if any) is added with an open model (without vertical lines)..
  2. The author attaches a brief curriculum vitae including full name, place and date of birth, educational history, address of the agency/institution where he is assigned (office phone number, facsimile and handphone), and e-mail address.
  3. Every manuscript submitted to the IJLDC editor will be reviewed by an editorial Board and two Peer Reviewers based on their field of expertise. Correspondence is done via e- mail using the Open Journal System (OJS).
